Our fundraising events.
As a club we feel that charity events are not only great for raising money, but they're also a good excuse to have some fun! Every year we host a range of different charity events, some more swimming focused like our annual charity gala, others much less so such as our charity pub quiz.
As well as organising our own fundraisers, we have great fun taking part in the broad range of events put on by other Warwick sports and societies to support all the wonderful charities any way we can.
If you would like to get involved in any of these events, or have any ideas of your own, feel free to drop us a message!

Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity is the UK’s leading center for treating sick children and they have the largest number of specialists all in one place. They help over 619 new children every day and tackle some of the rarest and most challenging illnesses. The GOSH charity support the hospital in 4 key areas: rebuilding and refurbishment, support for families and children, research into children’s health and investment in life-saving medical equipment. Our donation will go towards genetic testing for diagnoses, time spent in research labs and even cover the cost of a night’s stay for parents in their family accommodation.
We are thoroughly looking forward to seeing how much we can raise for this wonderful charity and raise awareness for the work that they are doing.
We also have two smaller charities that we will be raising money for this year which are...
Rethink Mental Illness and Coventry Haven.
Our English Channel Swim (in our swimming pool)
We swam 21 miles (1344 lengths) and raised £816!
Every year we show our support to World Ocean's Day in order to continue raising awareness for the health of marine life and water sources.
We joined in the online campaign 'ZEROWASTELUNCH' to discourage the unneccesary single-use plastics in everyday life.
To join in our online campaigns make sure to follow the links to our social medias, especially Instagram so that you can get involved on our stories!
A previous chosen charity to donate to was Headway! We choose our charity democratically, with everyone in the club being given the opportunity to vote for the charity they want to raise money for.
Headway – the brain injury association is the UK’s leading national charity dedicated to promoting understanding of all aspects of brain injury. They work nationally to provide support, services and information to brain injury survivors, their families and carers. Brain injury can challenge every aspect of your life – walking, talking, thinking and feeling – the losses can be severe and permanent. It can mean losing the life you once lived and the person you once were.
